I don't think it was a shop, just a huge warehouse, or maybe a factory. There were short streets of housing between Grange Rd. had a slight bend to the right here (coming down from Charing Cross). Years before, before my time, it was a music hall called Ohmy's Circus. That used to be a big CO-OP department store furniture & the like.
side of Grange Rd., almost opposite where TKMaxx is now. One of the things that was where the Pyramids is was St.John's Church. Since tis is an unusual name, I think he was related to Jean Boht (Bread), maybe her father. The cinema near Argos was the Ritz I know because I was a projectionist there for about a year.
