Is this partially to blame for them only getting 1 game of 2/5 running recently?Ģ-5 is dying for forces not really in their control. I only play 1/3 though, which doesn't have too many short handed games as most people complain and ask to break the table (due to not wanting to play short handed, not due to rake). I know they have a policy of having to get approval for reduced rake, but was not aware of them not reducing it during promos. Great decision to the staff! Instead of getting what used to be I think $3 when 4 handed, now you get nothing but pissed off customers who will leave as soon as we get less than 6.
It has led to many 2-5 games breaking that used to flourish during the week. JACK's very unique policy of not reducing rake 'during promotions' has to be a first. I have played in lots of card rooms around the country. But, if someone could forward to whomever makes decisions, it would be great. Not really sure if anyone who works at JACK monitors this.
